Serial kilers are often white males in their 30's or 40's who are balding and had a speech impediment as a child. If there was a serial killer in you neighborhood would you want the police searching everyone equally or focusing on the most likely group while being alert to other posibilities? Yes, I work in law enforcement. I don't think you discriminate, but you need to focus your assets on what is probable. You wouldn't want people spending lots of money looking for 70 yr old white ladies for terrorist plots.
