England, almost all the independance day celebrations are about freedom from Imperial rule and england spain germany and france were always the rulers

Canada doesn't have "Independence Day". We have Canada Day, which is similar, celebrated on July 1st. It is a celebration of when the British North American provinces united to become Canada. It was officially established in 1879.

the closest things we have are ANZAC day - april 25
and Australia Day - january 26
