Good question, but I think the def. of being prejudice is judging somebody before you are completely informed of the situations circumstances. So by default I guess you could be acting prejudice if you accused them, not knowing completely the facts. Was this person referring to one single person, did they use a generic term referring to a group of people? There are so many questions you would need to know the answer to.
So are you being prejudice towards somebody by accusing them of being prejudice? I guess the difference that isn't explained in the defenition is that prejudice tends to be more of a mind frame then a one time judgement. You can say that one person might not like another person because of an obvious physical difference, but maybe they just don't like that person because they have a negative or opposite attitude! Now if that person doesn't like anyone who has a negative attitude, regardless of ever talking to that person (those people) then that person is inherintly prejudice.
Now I'll tell you that there is absolutely a negative connotation towards people who are "prejudice." However I can tell you that I don't associate/be around/respect a single person who judges people by color, sex, whatever - that makes me prejudice, prejudice against prejudice.

No and carefully.
Since the word 'prejudiced' includes the concept of 'pre-judging' or making a judgment without considering the facts, you can reasonably accuse someone of prejudice if you do in fact consider the facts before doing so.
Jesus is a bad example, in my opinion. Since his stated purpose was to 'wash everyone's sins away' it seems that he was interested in making it possible for people to cast stones with impunity. In fact, many Christians behave as if that is exactly what his purpose was.

there is not anyone in this world that can say they are prejudice free. I listened to a speech at New York University; the professor was talking about his absence of prejudice which is very apparent on the outside. He stressed there is the inside that nobody can vision. It is not about casting stones; it is about being true to one's self. If I am with a black person, I do act differently. When I am with a close black friend I grew up with, I keep my same demeanor, because we were babies together. So in my mind, I really don't see that he is black at all. But his cousin from New Jersey, she is a black lady and I need to act differently when I am with her.

Damn straight. In most cases, anyway. If you observe prejudicial behavior, and wish to comment, then that isn't prejudice. I really hate when a black person says I am racist or someone is racist, when we aren't even thinking about race. Guess who is the racist in that case? I've seen that scenario many times. That has nothing to do with me judging anyone. I don't have issues with the past, like what happened in the 30's or before I was born.

You left off the 'pre'. PREjudice means to judge them BEFORE you know anything about them. You can judge without being prejudice.

Beautiful and terrible insight and wisdom here. People who abuse children give me a job and purpose and esteem. If they didn't exist, what would I be? I think this is a condition of being a spiritual being in a human body. We judge. But being this insightful makes you very open to seeing as clearly and purely as we hue-man beings can see.

There is a difference between prejudice (meaning to pre-judge) and discernment. No, we should not judge others, however we are within our rights to guide others when their behavior is such.

No. When you see someone being prejudice, you are pointing it out . You can like all sorts of people, but when someone is proving their own prejudice,it's not hard to tell ! That does not mean you're prejudice.

This is a ticklish one, but I believe that you are being prejudiced! I can get just as unreasonably angry at someone spouting prejudice as they are in their opinions. Of course, I always think that I am completely justified, and they are totally irrational. Ah, human nature strikes again!!!
