I watch the Lakers on T.V all the time, and every home game I see celebrities, especially Jack Nicholson. Even in the finals, I see T.O who happens to be a football player...show up and cheer for the Heats. The last time I remember a celebrity showed up at a football game was during the Super Bowl. Do alot of Celebrities go to Football games, and I just don't know about it...or is it that they like Basketball better?

That's simple, you get better face time on TV at basketball games than at football games. Also weather is never a factor at basketball games.

They do go to more basketball game because they are inside not in the cold like most football games. Besides football fans are alot drunker and take the game more serious so there is a possibility they might get the hell kicked out of them.

Team 1 for sure and here's why: First of all, David Ortiz would pound on Bonds because he 's like 40 now. Tony Romo has good aim and can probably shoot but Russel could be just as good. Simpson no doubt since she's not really a maniac. Al Gore would win for sure. Freddy is like 16 and Bekham is a undoubtedly the better player. -Mister J

The answers people have provided are most likely. They get publicity.
But one thing to remember. Corporate boxes. If a celebrity wanted to go to a football game, they wouldn't sit in the crowded stands, they'd probably hire out a corporate box, or something like that. So that's another reason why you won't see them as often.

Either it seems there are more at basketball games because they are more visible (games are indoors and you're not covered up by outerwear) or there really are more at basketball games because they are more visible. Celebrities love camera time.

Maybe it is because they are at the games but you don't really see them for several reasons. Like how big the stadiums are, maybe they are in the private boxes that are available, or maybe they go to the games and really do not want to be seen. It would be harder to spot a celebrity at the stadiums than a b-ball court.

maybe it is because football stadiums hold way more people so that it is harder for cameras to spot them and put them on tv

also while watching a basketball game the fans r right next to the court so maybe thats y they go to be seen at the game

There are many more games to attend. You get to sit much closer to the action, and get in more camera shots. Finally, there aren't any football teams in LA, while there are two basketball teams.
