Yes, of course. Just like we Americans expect all people to stand up during the national anthem, when we are visitors in another nation, we should respect their nation as well.

Yes. It is a sign of respect. It's good to be a gracious vistor where ever you are.
I guess from a personal point of view though, you need to ask yourself would you expect someone who was visitng your country to stand when your anthem was played? I would appreciate it, but it wouldn't be the end of the world for me if a person decided not to.

Would you like someone to disrespect your national anthem.If you dont then just stand up that is a sign of respect. If you are not from that country is also a sign of respect just to stay quiet.
