It's a beautiful name. My guess is that it is going to be very popular in the next few years because of Gilmore Girls.

is not widely spread.
around your name volves the following myth:
at the rhine at Koblenz, the rhine gets very tight and
it makes a curve. at this curve, there is a 125m big
rock. it is said that upon this rock was a mermaid
sitting, singing and combing her long, blonde hair.
she was so beautiful in nature, that fishermen and
boatsmen didn't watch out for the rhines curve, thus
driving against the rock and sinking their ships.
The mermaids name was - Loreley.
