what would you presume they were up to?
I saw this this morning at my (new) college (U of GA). At least a couple hundred girls wearing nice dresses and lots of makeup and perfume walked from some dorms past me (waiting at the bus stop) toward campus. They had name tags on. I have a guess what they were doing (I saw a few of them later in the student center), but I've never seen this kind of thing before in my 10 years of being a college student at 3 different colleges.
p.s. yes it was a nice surprise for the morning! a couple of them even said hi to me :).
p.p.s. what would be a better category for this question? i wish YA had a "College Life" category.

Hmm...girls in dresses, I cant say I see many of them. Don't really know about the college scene, but first thought that comes to my mind is a dance or some type of pledge. *shrugs* Like I said though, "don't really know much about the college scene".

i know i know. it was the 'million gurl march' ha ha. honestly i think they had a play live on stage for their parents and other guests. thats y dey were dressed so pretty :)
