Liberal's view of economic policy...the gov't will provide.
Liberals never grow up, so they need a nanny all of their life. The nanny-gov't policy.

The same thing as Communism.
Pretty much when a government is set up to run the country in every aspect.
Social, Religion, Money, etc.
You can never better your self in a socialist/communist society.
We all have the same health care, shop at the same stores, get the same wages or allotments,
In a socialist society the people are pretty much controlled & lead robot like lives!
It is no life at all!
God Bless

The general cultural idea is [authentically or otherwise] the enacting of security for the masses by forcible wealth transfers (from richer to poorer). It must be based on a rejection of man as an entity; an individual. It always requires the initiation of force by the government.

Socialism is an economic system intended to balance the economic systems of pure capitalism and and pure communism. Due to the central idea of wealth spreading and free human services it tends to fall closer to communism in actual practice. Many of the problems of individual motive and marketplace choice associated with communism can be found in socialism.

The first form of socialism was in the 13 colonies in America. Simply every body does a job they know or are assigned and every one shares equally in everything yes everything. No one gets more because of the gob they did.
