Ok all guys out there, this is a question about beauty. I'm 5' 8'', 148 pounds, in good shape, great personality, smart, and into community service and student council. I am about to get braces. My question (or questions, I guess), is that, do braces turn you off, or does it not matter? Also, how much does a girls' looks affect you in your attraction to her? I'm just curious, thanks for your input! =)

In my opinion, braces don’t really matter so much when I decide how beautiful the girl is. Girl’s looks do matter for about 50% (her character & personality matter for the other about 50%). Of course I’d like a girl to be physically beautiful & attractive, but if everything else is nice and pleasant, then little things such as braces won’t have a large negative affect on what I think of a girl. You are smart & you have a great personality, so that’s excellent right there! Don’t need to worry about your appearance in braces.

Braces have never put me off, but the unfortunate state of our society is that appearances do count. A lot.
For me, at least, someone with better than average looks AND a personality is more attractive than a stunner. Of course, the stunner will catch my eye, but I'll spend my time with the other.

Well, to avoid lying to you, yes looks matter for attraction.
But braces are fine. I actually think braces look cute on most girls.

I don't think I would want to date you if you have braces on your legs. On your teeth? That wouldn't bother me at all.

Get braces (if ness.) when you are young.Don't think about it and just get it done if you/family can afford it.
No point in worrying about it to much.If it has to be done,then get them on a.s.a.p.
