What do you people think about using this site to gripe about big companies that screw over all of us peons?

Like companies that won't call back when your bill is wrong. Or the one that doesn't show up to hook up your phone or cable after you took off the whole day from work to wait for them. Or the one that sold you a piece of junk and won't fix it or take it back.

I don't own my own business, but I am a 'service worker' of sorts and I have not missed or been late for an appointment with a client in the 12 years I have worked in my field. For those of you who have difficulty reading, I haven't whined about anything--I have merely posed a question.

Most of the responses to questions I read on here are thoughtful or funny or just 'quickies' for the points. These are appreciated. But some of them are stupid and/or mean and just cause clutter.

This forum can be very powerful. We should use it to further our ideas. But, watch for yahoo employees who answer your questions. Political correctness is still observed in the corporate world.....

You probably ARE only a peon because you're spending your life griping about things instead of changing them.

Are you smart enough and tough enough to build a business of your own, one that can afford to provide all the services that you think you're entitled to? Most people aren't, so they just gripe.

For: I guess if the company refuses to help you when they are clearly at fault then they deserve to be exposed.

Against: What's the point about telling folks in Europe, India, Australia or wherever that your local cable company or appliance store ripped you off?
