fender strat or telecaster.
This will be good for playing blues in the future and also for other styles (general play).
You can't go wrong with either but test both out first to see which feels better!
For an amp, you could get a fender or a marshall. Marshall make the best amps but they could be pricey so you might wanna cheap out for a smaller 10 watt amp for learning.
For a pedal effect, ask the store for a wah wah pedal. This might get tiring though so you should just shop around for an all-in-1 pedal effect. For classic electric guitar stuff, go with the wah wah pedal.

If you are just starting out go to a local music store and see whats in your price range. You don't know what kind of guitar you like until you try it out. Also don't let the opinions of others sway your opinion so much whatever sounds good to you. Some good brands are Fender and Gibson.
Boss pedals are awesome they have alot of effects for whatever you need.
Good amps are again, all what sounds good to you. Amps can go from practice amps that are like $50-$100 or professional amps that are good for gigging or practicing with a band that go from $600-$2000. Again whatever sounds good to you, what fits into your needs, and whats in your price range. Good brands are Marshall, Crate and Mesa/boogie.
Good luck!

properly while you're extreme approximately enjoying the guitar than i'd first purchase an acoustic and take classical training. a sturdy commencing acoustic would be an Ibanez, which isn't the best guitar notwithstanding it is way less costly and continues to be in music. additionally i'd advise getting in touch with a music college and discovering the thank you to play electric powered guitar on a similar time. the two gadgets help one yet another and with the aid of taking the two on a similar time, your awareness of the guitar will come jointly swifter. Then in a protracted time you are able to come to a call which one you opt for to concentration on.

Well if you want a metal sound, go for an Ibanez.
Or get an Epiphone Les Paul.
Gibson Les Pauls are very great, but a lot of money.
Marshall amps are the best.
