Football training is a combination of weight lifting and running/aerobic exercise. The weight training needs to include bulk lifting (workouts designed to build muscle) that involve lifting a lot of weith a few times. It does not matter how much you lift to start with, figure out the maximum you can lift one time in an exercise (your "max") and then do sets of 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 repetitions with increasing weights.
Running, sprints and agility drills are also imporant. The 40 yard dash is the way to go.

How much effort you put into your strength and speed training program determines what you get out of it. No work, no results. But you can't just keep working your *** off day after day without paying attention to your recovery. I don't care if you're in high school and feel you're invincible. You need to plan and execute your recovery methods the same way you plan your training sessions and meals. The harder your work, the more you need to work on recovery.

they eat alot of protein...and they lift alot... im sure alot use performanche enchahing drugs as well... but if u eat alot of protein and lift in heavey weight low reps (5 by 5) or (5 by 3) u should and bulk and strenght
