Most Americans DON'T think he's an idiot. The ones who feel that way shoot their big mouths off so loudly, it sounds like a lot. Really just a few IDIOTS. He is my president. I support him. I told my wide-eyed Liberal friends, that if Kerry were to be elected, I would support him, because he would be my president. Not ONE of them made the same claim, if Bush were to be elected. The thing is this, plain and simple...I am an American and I love my country with all my heart. I am a realist, not a fool with nothing to offer but criticism. All of my Liberal friends say awful things about him. It sickens me. Maybe they should give it a go in another country. Tell that to a Liberal and they will give you a bad *** answer that means only this....they want to live here, get all the liberties, all the advantages...they just want it to be perfect. No such place! Abraham Lincoln said: "This is the last best place on Earth." Amen.
P.S. Today is V J Day. I wonder how many people who think poorly of our President are even aware of the significance of this day in history! Freedom really DOES NOT come free. They make fun of that statement as well...when they do, I silently grieve.

Hmm. Food for thought. But you gotta know that the elections were rigged. Bush was extremely unpopular during the elections among the American people but he gained a lot of support and money among the rich so... Americans aren't idiots after all! Only the rich ones are?
Hmm.

My god no!!! I'm a Canadian and I don't think that Americans are idiots. How can you sterotype an entire nation?
You know, I deal with a lot of wholesalers and business people and I have to say that the American people that I have had the pleasure to deal with have been the nicest, kindest and most genuine ever.
Let's try empathizing with them. They are stuck with a government that they hate. Well, so are we over here. Where is the difference.

To my American neighbours....I love ya all!!

Only an idiot thinks that the American people elected the President.

He was re-eleceted because the real majority of Americans are not the whining, screaming media you hear when you turn on the TV. Those who are screaming to be heard are doing so because they aren't at peace with their choice. President Bush is not the idiot. People like you are the idiot for being a sheep to the media noise.

Where did you get the "most" perception?

The answer, from me, is no!! I am not an idiot, I know what I think is good for this Country and I vote my mind.
President Bush was re-elected because most of us voted for him!!
If the "most" didn't want him he would not be in office!

Talk about idiots... If they didn't vote, they shouldn't complain!

They got rid of hard copy ballots and CNN said they dropped doing exit polls in Florida(a swing state in both elections) because the voters lied in the previous Bush/Gore election.

The exiting voters surveyed stated a majority for Al Gore but the hard copy ballots counted totaled for Bush. Now how did that work?

Was it Bush people who lied to say they voted for Al Gore to make their man Bush look like he stole the election or was it Gore people who voted for Bush and lied that they voted for Gore to make it look like their boy was cheated?

America is beautiful and our people our diverse. We make a choice - given the ones we have to choose from - I do NOT think that makes the voters idiots. WE voted - talk to the ones that did not make the effort.

I love America and I am proud to be one and I always will be!

The public fell for tricks of the GOP and Karl Rowe attacking the person and not dealing with issues.

All it means is not enough people voted. And the choices were sorry. I voted for a third-party candidate. If more people did, things might actually start to change.
