I'm a middle class moderate. Not insulting the either with this question, but I'd like to know why I should vote dem or republican. Fight for my vote, I'd like to see which party has better stances

You should vote for the person that you think is the best qualified person for the position they are running for. Male or female, no matter what party. That's what I do. I've crossed the party lines several times in my life.

You should vote democrat because you need deadlock in government. Only deadlock causes politicians to have restraint. Right now republicans own everything in washington, that is why they don't have restraint. Thus we need democrats to take control of a handful more positions to achieve deadlock.

Well, it depends on what you believe in. If you believe in higher taxes, partial-birth abortions, weak national security, affirmative action, increased entitlement programs, gay marriage, and better relations with nations such as France, then vote for democrats. If you don't believe in those things, vote republican.
