I'm sure there is a very simple answer for this, but as I am not a PC game player, I really have no clue.
How do I start a game on the PC?
I have a website for the game but I don't see any sort of link where i can download it. Do I need to actually purchase a disc or something?
The game I am trying to see is here:
http://www.callofcthulhu.com/

PS - I notice this is also an xbox game and I don't have that.

yes you have to buy the game from a store or on the internet just make sure you buy the one for the pc and not the xbox because the xbox one wont work on the pc installing the game should be simple just put the disk in the computer and it should automatically load the program and just follow the instructions and if you need help with the installation of the game read the manual it helps greatly

I did not click on the link but if you want an X-box game then you must buy it.
X-box games are for the X-box console which you cannot play on a PC.

But some X-box games have PC versions such as halo combat evolved, although you'd have to buy those too.

And once you have the game, It is really simple to start a game, every game should have a button somewhere that will get you into the action or guide you to it step by step.

But if you own a game and cannot start playing it then it is probably too hard for those who cannot pass the startup screen.

You need to go purchase the game. I'm sure you can order it on line, but you may want to go to an actual store where there are people who can help you determine whether your computer can handle it. This game is extremely graphics intensive and uses an advanced AI which will tax all but the latest systems.

It would be easier (and maybe cheaper, depending on your computer) to buy the XBox 360 and use that version of the game. At least you don't have to go through the installation process, and you don't have to guess whether you're going to fry your video card.
