Actually there is no limit. But to give you a hint of some good paying jobs, especially one in particular: salesman/saleswoman. You work on commission. Your earnings are limited only by your abilities. Of course you will have to work your way into the better positions. And you will improve your abilities by doing independent study.

First RRf00 posted an answer and hes a moron because bill gates left Grad school but had his BA.
As far as your answer go to your local unemployment office. There they have a list of top 100 jobs that are high paying in the market currently. They list from Highschool diploma to college.
As far as doing this just with Highschool diploma and no extra vocational training to be honest you will not have much luck then. Only because if you do not have then the college to back you the companies want to know that you have the skills needed as far as vocational. So i would say check into that they are not that long 11 months at the most.
The one guy here said driving as a job that is a high paying job if you get into trucking but again you need CDL and trucking school if you head that way. So there is an example of how you need a little more other than highschool.
So check with the labor board like i said and then you will see clearer.
best of luck. GO TO COLLEGE though

Pilots make more money than surgeons and they don't have to go to school too long. Also Chefs if you live in the right city my husband is one and we live in Vegas. There are culinary jobs going for 100-150K a year. RN's and nurses can make a decent living for about 2 years of schooling. And...you can do a whole lot with a Business degree.

It all depends on your ambition and networking skills. There are some 'old school' companies that don't require a degree because it's founder didn't have one. You just have to be prepared to work hard and show them what you're made of. You'll have to have a certain degree of social skills as well, to get on the good list of the right people. I'm not talking about kissing up, you just have to make yourself visible to key people in the business and make them remember you in a positive way.

Some rich kids work in their parent's business, get a high 5 figure salery, and does no work. So, you can't accurately really equate the high school education's worth according to the amount of money one makes.

truck drivers can earn good money but they are not home very often. industrial work can be suited for individuals with little to no education, (i am not saying that they are for stupid people!!!) but usually they require patience to work up in the scheme. otherwise you do need a little bit of college. never-the-less, if you start at the bottom working in chemical plants and such, you can earn a nice living by working plenty of overtime.

Get your drivers license, and then use it wisely in any job requiring expert drivers.
U.P.S. pays well, just one example.
There are many other service jobs requiring just a clean drivers license.
Look into one of them.
Good luck.
