I've been workin out for the past year on and off. Since February consistantly I have been workin out about 5times a wk (with adequate rest in between) and I have been taking 100% Whey Protein and Creadrive (from GNC, a creatine-carb mix). I want to take a break with the creatine for a lil bit.

I def have been noticing gains lately and I'm looking for something without the creatine to try out and see what kind of results I can get as far as muscle mass. I am still going to take the whey protein. Any suggestions on new supplements? I was also looking at taking Probolic SR (12hr protein micro feeder)...Thanks

Synthetic Proteins are not as effective as Natural Proteins your body find in it's intake and digestion of meals. The time distribution of these supplements are not calculated properly often. Simple ingredients in these formulas are terribly portioned and thus end up setting you back. As a athlete I use supplements, but I discovered early on that they weren't working for me as I expected them. After looking into them I discovered problems with them. Just as a massive intake of Calcium shuts of your bodies natural Potassium channels, Ingredients in these supplements will often shut down channels within your body, primarily depriving your muscles of the very ingredient you want to get to them, the Protein. The only way I was able to solve this, was to balance my intake of the supplements with a equal and sometime superior diet. If you have a crappy diet or are in poor health, supplements will often not be as effective.

First of all don't eat those GNC stuff, they will help you get all buff but if you stop working out of taking it you will get alot of stress marks. that's what happened to my friend according to the doctor. So just exercise at least 4 times a week, sleep between 7-9 hrs, and eat normally. Also, when you exercise don't work out all your 6 body parts in day and then the next days keep on doing the same thing, you got to let your body rest. What I do is work 3 parts of my body one day and the other three the next day. That way your other body parts will be resting while you other 3 body parts will be working out.

Sounds like you need to pump it up more, instead of using the same weight for each set, start out heavier for the first set, a little lighter for the second and a bit lighter for the third. Its opposite to what is considered the norm but I read about it in Mens health a few years ago........I think they call it the Jail house workout...look it up, the guy went to prison and now is a personal trainer in NYC for the wealthiest clients! Lay back on the supplements and eat meat babe.......
