I want to learn about investment opportunities, both foreign and domestic. I want to learn about investments that are dirt cheap, as well as super expensive. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There are a number of internet sites that can be used to find investment opportunities. But before you do that I would suggest reading a few books on investing to develop a sound background.

Check out your public library. Go to Amazon and check out the customers ratings of investment books. Buy a few. It will be money well invested. And do not read them once and then forget about them. Reread them every couple of years.

There are on line brokers that have a lot of research material. My personal favorite is Fidelity. They have a great deal of research material.

Forbes is a good source. Reuters is a good site. They are free. Yahoo finance is a good site. It is free. There are countless more.

What you do not want to do is pay any attention to the emails you receive tooting a stock selling below a $1.00 a share. I must get 5 a day..

I don't believe anyone in todays world would actually ask for investment info. There are innumerable sites/magazines/etc dedicated to investment.....certainly thousands. What you need to do first is answer all of the up front questions related to why, where, when, etc...all of the WH questions, assess your risk tollerance, think of goals, etc. Then look for the info disseminaters.
