THE ANSWERS:
8. Liberalism- political tradition which holds that liberty is the primary political value. Believe in individual rights, and in which the rights of all citizens are protected. Liberalist governments like to use and spread democratic ideals, and believe in the international community. They don't believe one democratic government will attack another
Realism- Comes from German Realpolitik. It focuses on the balance of power among nation-states. Realist states are anarchic, and they don't believe in an international community. It also assumes that sovereign states, rather than international institutions, non-governmental organizations, or multinational corporations, are the primary actors in international affairs. According to realism, each state is a rational actor that always acts towards its own self-interest, and the primary goal of each state is to ensure its own security. They will also want to amass resources and territory any way, even through war.
