My sister is working on a paper about history, and she needs to come up with a thesis for that statement, and then 3 supporting facts, so she can make 3 separate paragraphs. Any ideas?

Thesis: remembering our mistakes is a good way to avoid repeating them.

Supporting facts (ie: examples):
1- Low support neo-nazis have today. The memories of the holocaust, luckily, are still fresh, reminding us of how awful nazism and fascism are. Holocaust museums remind people not to trust fascist ideas again.
2- Hitler forgot to take the example from Napoleon when he invaded Russia and lost. Since he didn't learn from history, he lost again, for he forgot how hard is to fight in the Russian winter.
As they did in the times of the french invasion, russians won again by a "scorched earth" policy. That is, by burning down their villages and letting the foreign troops starve to death.
3- We now know a lot of economic theories that allow us to lift up our countries and prevent a crisis... we've learned that the hard way, from the Great Depression. We now know about inflation, the importance of not printing money, the importance of avoiding monopolies and preventing excessive market especulation.
However, seeing that we seem to be approaching a world recession again, how much we have learned there is questionable.

Write the rest yourself. Never expect others to do hard work for you.

Statement: Lest we forget and make the same mistakes again: 1. Cold War vs. Mideast War.
2. 21st century civil rights vs. earlier civil rights movements, including radical reconstruction.
3. Women's status today vs. equal rights movements of the late 19th and 20th centuries.

It is important to remember our past or else the horrors of history are bound to repeat themselves time and time again. The joys and golden ages of history will also be harder to achieve without inspiration and guidance.

Hmm... I wonder how much more widespread cheating has become since the advent of the internet....

Perhaps your sister could write about the history (and current trends) of cheating.
