Is it really impossible to fail? Are some failures merely unsuccessful attempts to accomplish what we set out to do, or do all failures ultimately provide some benefit, even if we can't see it right away?

I think failure provides us with a benefit, this way we understand why our unsuccessful attempt was abortive. It adds on to our knowledge of life and this way, we're able to sculpt our flaws.

Failure is quite often the first step towards success. I believe that failure is a prerequisite to success. Failure analysis is the science of determining how and why we fail . "Things" may include any number of items or products, or may be something less tangible, such as the failure of a procedure, instructions or a process to produce the intended result.

Although rarely intentional, some things are just destined to fail. Either the design concept is flawed or the materials chosen for construction are unsuitable. Materials may have been selected without regard to the actual field or service requirements, or perhaps these conditions have changed.

Failure is part of the process of understanding the phenomena around us. The process of elimination and rejection are important elements of failure. Seeing failure as a positive construct is essential for the achievement of success.

If you let yourself down and do not live up to your potential than you have failed yourself and others, but mostly yourself. So failure is possible.
NOUN: 1. The condition or fact of not achieving the desired end or ends: the failure of an experiment. That is a failure that can still lead to success by learning from your failures.

I think it all depends on what we define failure as. As you said, some may consider it an unsucessful attempt or an obstacle to be surpassed while others may see it as the end of the road for something.

That's a good perspective to have. If everyone looked at things that didn't work out in their lives as failures, there would be no inventions, no new thoughts, no progress.
People would be afraid to try things that haven't been done before.

Failure is an illusion a person creates in their mind .

We have the ability to grow and learn from all that takes place in our lives.

What we do with it is up to us.

It depends on the person who is performing the action. Do you have a negative or positive disposition?
