I don't know how to give mouth to mouth unfortunately... and if not done correctly it can be dangerous, BUT I would try to help in any other way I can. (And if I did know how, I would)

I have a first aid certificate so if I saw someone who needed help I would give it without another thought. Heart attacks can happen to anyone at any time and it takes just a few minutes till serious brain damage occures so if you just call an ambulance and not do C.P.R. It could be too late for for the person.

gender would not matter-- at that point you have the opportunity to gift a breath of life and keep someone alive until medics come..... the last thing on my mind would be gender or who is standing by - just do the best at giving medical attention. I hope you'd do the same for me ...

Of course! Even if it were a dirty looking homeless person!! What's a bit of dirt and saliva in comparison to saving a life!!??

Gender has no role to play in the decision, or at least it shouldn't.

if it looks like they aren't breathing, and I'm certified...and the other person isn't....some things like whether or not the person is the same gender isn't important in those situations where a life is on the line.

What difference does gender make. Someone is possibly dying and you are making something sexual out of it. I sure hope you don't ever need help.

If you are unable to help someone because of gender, you value your image over life.
Do you understand the value of human life?...doubt it.
