Is there a faster internet broadband than comcast. I have comcast and I HATE IT.. I was looking and its hard to find something good. Anyone know of any that are better and faster that dont cost a butt load...?

I mean comcast has taken over our city and we are trying to get away form it. See they have their claws dug in us. Theres this new internet thats been hitting small towns near us it makes the WHOLE city wireless and its 10 X faster than cable. Its supposted to be amazing! We are all trying to get away from comacast its always dieing and it costs A TON.

DSL is an option, though it is not widely available in a lot of areas. It is competitively priced with cable internet.

DSL. Check with your local phone company.
Also, run an anti-spy ware on your computer. Adware and spyware will bog it down. Also if you haven't defragged your computer in a while, do that.

Well, it sort of depends on how old your computer is, but just DSL w/ your phone company is fast.

Don't know anything that beats broadband.
There are plug-ins that speed things up more. One I use is Faster Fox for Mozilla Firefox.
