The traditional beliefs, customs, legends, and songs that come from a group of people is seen through folklore. These traditional aspects are passed down for entertainment and virtues to live by. A fairy tale is one form of a folklore that usually consists a of beautiful princess/prince or an old and ugly creature symbolizing evil. Some common characters seen in folklore are: gnomes, trolls, gods, godesses, and faeries. All characters in these tales represents a custom or belief from the people.

No, you are confusing them with trolls. Trolls come to life at night and turn to stone during daylight.

Gnomes are mainly diurnal.

Of course they do, mine makes Margarita's in my trailer when I'm not there.
I have a pictures to prove it. Only I don't know how to show the picture ,within this answer. I'll have to say he does make a perfect margarita every time. I think he attends Bar tending school in his spare time. Of course they come to life at night.

since i am for certain that they are the ones stealing half of all my socks. then yes. it only makes sense that they come to life at night. for that is when i slumber and cannot properly guard my footwear.

Well if they do they don't change their clothes because mine have been wearing the same outfits for years, in fact I am getting them refitted next week.
