no, definitely not. I am a cashier and just the other day an older woman asked me if she could use some of her pennies. I had no idea it would be $5.00 worth, and little kids come in all the time with pennies. I don't mind at all. The only thing I don't like is having to count it at the end of the day. If I have that many tho I usually bag it and mark it earlier before I close my drawer. Money is money and you shouldn't judge people, and you should definitely not be rude to them when if it were not for them you would'nt have a job

if you were a poor person and all you had was pennies how would you feel if someone did that to you. If you are a cashier and probably don't make alot of money either you may be faced with this exact problem someday, watch what you do, it could come back to haunt you .

Nope, pennies are legal tender. If fact, if you end up going to the hot place after life, sins are paid for in pennies, each sin cost millions of dollars, so take as many pennies as you can find with you.

No, the pennies spend the same as dollars. It's not your money, it's the stores, and you get paid by the hour so why would you care about how much time it takes you to count the money?

No. It's money isn't? Besides, throwing the pennies to a customer or anybody would be assault. So it can get you fired and thrown in jail at the same time.

Dear 'no stupid questions"
Yet you ask one of the dumbest questions I have seen in a while. You are a cashier and you are paid to serve the customers. If you did that and I was your boss you'd be fired and I would help the customer sue you for assault.

SO DO YOUR JOB AND QUIT COMPLAINING!

There wouldn't be any change if the customer paid in pennies.
