Colin Powell said long ago that he wasn't a politician and didn't want to be. Sorry, "King Richard", money won't get it. The President doesn't make THAT much money, and the general can nicely augment his retirement pay by doing a few hours as a guest speaker.

Colin Powell used up all his chips when he puckered up to kiss Bush's butt. Had he run as a Democrat back in 2000, he'd be president today. He blew it big time.
