...go around the earth, along the equator, within one second?

I'm only asking because I heard someone say it before and I just forgot. I would do the math, but I figured, since someone else already knew, than maybe one of you already knew it.

It can't. Something moving at the speed of light, by definition, has zero mass and is subject to the laws f gravity. Only something with the gravitational pull of a black hole would be able to influence the curviture of the movement. The earth doesn't have that amount of pull, therfore it couldn't circle the earth.

According to the dominant scientific theory, only light can move at the speed of light and the closer an object gets to the speed of light, the more time slows down.

Well, find the speed of light, and find the length of the equator, and do the math...

equator, 24,000 miles

feel free to do the math

nothing can go that fast. just divide the speed of light by the earths circumference. duh.
