It depends on your skin type, and what case of acne you have. If it's severe I'd say go for it. If it's not too bad then maybe look at your options. You'll never know if you don't try it. I tried it a while back, it'd didn't really work for me though, it tends to dry out your skin. Best of luck.

I had similar severe acne problem for years up until last two years. In the begining I was quite skeptical about the Proactive Solution like you but then I had no other option coz nothing worked for me all those years of struggle. Spent lot of money buying bogus topical medicines and even saw skin doctors couple of times but nothing brought me the happiness that Proactive has today. Actually,I had lost all my hopes and confidence. Then I thought, I am gonna try this as my last resort and if nothing worked I am gonna give up no matter what happens to my acnes. Then I tried Proactive Solution, soon I started seeing the difference in my skin just after a week.My skin started glowing after a month and no more acnes or pimples. Since then I have been using it and still using Proactive Solution.Today, I tell my friends, the secret of my beautiful flawless skin is Proactive Solution.

No, I would never go back to using Proactiv. All it does is make it worse and it irrtates my skin. Go to a dermatologist and ask what to get but don't get Proactiv. What I use is 1/2 cup of water and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and it works a lot better than Proactiv. Good Luck

I used to have very serious cystic-like pimples that went very deep into the skin. I tried proactive, but I had to stop using it because it was too drying for my skin. If you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide do not use this product. My lil sister uses it now, and it works just fine for her though. If it is too drying for you, maybe you could use it just once a day instead of twice. I think its worth a try. I got rid of my acne by doing this blue light treatment that my dermo recommended. Word of advice, if you use proactive, do NOT use your mother's good towels. Proactive will bleach them when you dry you're face with the towels!

I know two 14-15 year olds who use it, and are happy with the results. As a mother, I can also see a visible difference within 1-2 days when my adolescent is prompted to start using it again. So I would rate it as reliable, at least in their cases.

Yes it works. There is also another wash available at Walmart that says on the box it is compared to ProActive that seems to work just as well. Nature's Cure system worked for me.

It is not for every one because I had a friend who can't tolerant that thing.Make a face tonic with mint and water, use it as an astringent after you washed your face.3 mints leave chopped, 8 tablespoon on water, change every 4-5 day, keep it in the fridge

it is reliable. but know this, people have different skin types. so, it can work on someone and not their brother or sister. that's why there are so many other companies out there than just proactiv.
anyway, best of luck. i know acne is a pain to deal with. but hey, it passed. so i hope things work out for you.

I've heard it was good, a friend of mine used it and loved it. I think they have a money-back guarantee, if they do, it's worth a try. Whatever you use, be sure to use it consistently to get the best overall performance out of it. Hope that helps!
