I have read that he had been writng a newspaper in the 1920s in the Dearborn Independant, but I just think he was trying to stick up for the USA. And he was in a car accident in 1927, a few days before appearing in court. Do you know anything about that?

Absolutely. He printed and distributed copies of the The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a bad forgery that was virulently anti-Semitic.

I have also heard (though I'm only about 90% sure on this one) that it was through Ford's promotion of this book that a young German soldier named Adolf Hitler came across it and used many of its ideas in the development of his poisonous theories.

unfortunately the answer is yes. he was racist against Jews and set up ford in Germany, supplied both sides of the war effort. He did many great things for the world (like paying his employees enough to buy his model T ) but he was no saint

Henry Ford was clearly into getting as cheap a labor force as possible. As a result, that area of michigan as the highest density of muslims than any other state.
Why else would this have happened?

during that time, most whites in the us were racist against jews, blacks and just about any other thing. the kkk was an established political organization until the early 1920s.
take a wild guess.

Yes, he was a racist. He also ran an automobile manufacturing company.
