Add a gold pin-stripe, and advertise! Call it a "special customized chair" or something like that. Really bear down on how much more comfortable it is than the standard model.

The value of the product depends on one or more of the following:

- materials used
- craftsmanship
-design
-value on the market
-availability
-demand in the market

Still, a cheap price does not have to mean that you could sell it more to buyers. You have to examine first several factors before you could increase the product's price. In addition, you have to research and compare prices of the product in the market. How much is the product cost to other sellers? Increasing too much price on a certain product will be very difficult to market. And sometimes, the product you are selling is just a freebie or giveaway to others. Usually, a good price would be 10% increase on the usual amount you paid. I suggest that you have to buy products wholesale. In this way, you get cheaper price by dozens and could very well add a slightly large amount for your product.

Knowledge is everything. What is it currently going for, how unique is it, are there other possible uses, who would be most interested in the item(decorators, old, young, average household etc,,,) sell specifically to a market you think will be most interested, ex:, ...this 1950's retro chair presents a unique opportunity to complete or replace items in your set. The quality and construction allows for coverings to be changed or personalized to your tastes at a fraction of the cost!
