Well, you do need to do some history reading. After the civil war, the south was heavily democratic. The north was republican. However, in those times the political veiws of the parties were reversed. The transition came between WW1 and WW2.. I get your point, but don't rant unless you can do so factually....thanks.

Ok so racism grew up in the south. That is because at the time there where virtually all white people in the north. And quite a few of the abolitionist in the north were only so because of the unfair competitive advantage the south had economically due to thier abundance of cheap (free labor).
When black people eventually moved north, so did racism.

I hate to break the news to you, but the South was originally a Democrat haven. It was only in the last 30 years that the Republicans took over the South. It's unfortunate because Republicans suck. Democrats rule!

Up till recently the south has always been controlled by the Democratic party.

I'm conservative and I don't try to classify democrats as racist... except for the possible exception of their hatred for republican blacks.
