I asked the question (Is "this" a circular reference?). This question so infuriated one individual that he stated that he was going to report me! He did and within hours my question was removed "For being a chat or private message" I don't see it do you? I however can get no explanation from yahoo answers as to why this individual has so much sway at yahoo answers. Any Ideas? Any similar experiences?

That's really messed up. That's actually a neat brain-teaser type question. What's wrong with that person?
I'm sorry there are so many idiots on here.

All I know is that there are people out there who are the self-appointed Yahoo police. They report anyone they find offensive. I understand if there's nudity or bad language, but some people go way, way, way overboard.

When it happens just ask the question again. There is virtually no chance that anyone who saw it the first time will see it the second time.

All of us have the power to delete other's questions. it's the "report abuse" button.

lol I got reported a few times also, and in my opinion for no reason whatsoever as I'm not really one to start trouble...yahoo removes without reading I think!
