I don't care much for Aidan, it's way too popular and it is worse if you have a common last name. I don't think that Joe, James & Aidan are horrible together, but they don't really sound like a family either. I searched for names that are Irish and surprisingly could not find a name that starts with J, so I see your dilemma. Aidan could honestly work, if that is the name you like. How about making the middle name Gaelic? Jacob Aidan Jacoby Aidan Jake Aidan Jason Jasper Aidan* my favorite Jackson Jonathan Good luck...hope I helped at least a little bit.
