so why would I say hi to you if you'd "look right through" me? in other words, you keep to yourself. well, why would someone talk to you if they were not sure what kind of person you are (rude, obnoxious, conceited, etc.)???

I agree with most who say, if you said hi to me I'd probably oblige by doing the same....

I consider myself a conservative person, but I do talk more when a person approaches me rather than the other way around.

No reason to be talking to strangers. For one, they (and I) have got better things to do, and they would probably think I'm some sort of freak.

I came from a small town and we always say "hi". I would say "hi" to you, but if you wanted more said you would have to say more.
