If we are a Republic, why do we insist on calling it a Democracy? Do you think it is a conspiracy? :-)
There is a huge difference between a Democracy and a Representative Democracy.
Should we adjust the pledge of alliegence to say "And to the Capitalist Republic, for which it stands, One nation, that has no clue who they are..."

Well, it is a conspiracy. Otherwise you wouldn't hear so many people refer to mob rule as "democracy". The conspiracy is to over turn the rule of law and replace it with the rule of the mob.

The elistist of both parties are so arrogant they think once we've destroyed the rule of law, they will be able to manipulate the mob and get what ever they want. If we don't change our ways we're headed down the path of the French revolution, where class warfare and mob rule caused a lot of people to lose their heads including almost all their leaders.

We do live in a democratic republic. However, the very nature of a republic is distasteful to some, who would prefer that the government direct every action of a citizen's lives, so they call it a democracy, in hopes of making people angry when they see things not in a true democracy.

The 'public' in republic is Latin for 'human beings'. The 'demo' in democracy is short for 'demos', that's Greek for 'human beings'. The words advise basically a similar ingredient. i do no longer the place this concept comes from that the U. S. isn't a democracy, yet i think some business enterprise of the GOP noise gadget. the 1st place I heard it replaced into from the rest room Birch Society. it is not something greater advantageous than semantics. we live in a republic, additionally a representative democracy.

Niether..... We have an oligarchy I think. Sure, there is a show of people being voted into office, but after that, all decisions are made on party values of whoever buys their patronage, not in the best interests of the people who vote them in.

BTW, I never stand, nor pledge allegiance to this country. It is not worthy of my allegiance.

We are neither one. We are a judicial oligarchy. The Supreme Court steals elections and flushes moral values down the toilet.
