You need to get her to go to a Planned Parenthood or health clinic that will give her a more accurate pregnancy test and is confidential. There are other reasons that she would miss a period other than pregnancy. I don't know how old she is but when a girl is young she can miss periods due to changes is diet and exercise. Because one test was negative and another was positive, I would have her retest at a clinic soon. I have heard that there are more false negatives than false positives w/ pregnancy tests. But don't get too stressed until you know for sure. Good Luck.

I would say if she missed her period uh DUH! but I can tell u are a little concerned so i'm going to suggest that you guys do another test. If you don't trust the home pregnancy test, make a doctor's appointment just to make sure. I can't really tell if you are happy about this or not from just reading this so I don't know whether to say you're screwed or Good Luck so i'll just say i hope everything works out for y'all!

The otc tests aren't 100%. But, I've never seen a false positive before and all of my friends have kiddies. Do you want a boy or a girl?

Take another test at the DR office which is a blood test and that will give you an accurate answer. Good Luck!

I would say from my experience of four children, that more than likely she is. She does need to go tot he doctor and find out for sure though. Occassionally medications can result in a false positive.

you may have tested too early for the first one to detect it. Chances are the answer is yes. Don't freak out yet, get to the doctor. And if it is yes, be happy.. it may not be expected, but kids are really amazing. If you think you've loved before.. you're in for a surprise, nothing compares to the love you feel for your child.
