how often is she scratching? do u see an y black specson her skin? if it is mites there is a home remedy u can use.
1 pint of room temperature water
1 Tablespoon of Witchhazel
1 Tablespoon of Listerine (not flavored)

Apply the solution to the mite infected hamster externally with a washcloth or put the solution in a spray bottle and lightly spray the hamster while being careful to protect the eyes, nose and mouth. After you treat the hamster it is important to clean your hamster's cage and accessories thoroughly, change the bedding and spray the solution lightly in the cage and on the hamster's toys and accessories.

i found its easiest to apply with a washcloth to better avoid the face.

under no circumstance give her any flea sprays for cats/dogs or she will die because they are too toxic for her size.
do not give her a bath as she can easily catch cold.

Galaxygurl has what seems like a formula that will work. You should avoid conventional chemical pesticide treatments, unless a vet can recommend one that is safe specifically for rodents.

First, you should completely clean the hamster's cage, and disinfect it with a 10% bleach solution. This goes for accessories as well. This will help kill any eggs and spores.

Try the remedy listed above. Another one that works well and is safe for hamsters, and a little stronger than witch hazel, is Neem oil. I would recommend spritzing the cage bottom with a weak solution of Neem oil in water (it is a tree derived natural insect repellent and viricide). You can also safely use it on the hamster's fur, but be careful not to get it in the eyes. Also, lavendar oil or dried lavendar flowers are repellent to most bugs, and they smell great. You can safely apply small amounts to the bedding.

Finally, make sure your hamster is receiving the vitmain and mineral level it needs. An imbalance can cause itchiness and dry skin. You can supply a few drops of Linatone or vegetable oil to the food to help, but make sure the pet is receiving a good balanced diet.

Good luck!

Talk to a vet they might know what you can buy for your hamster or you can but a flea and tick product for him, But if you do buy it get the liquid kind and rudd very little of it around the cage or on him but like I said talk to a vet first.

She may well be a splash grimy. purchase her a sand tub domicile and a few specific sand for her and letter her roll in it for a couple of minutes. do no longer depart her in there for an prolonged at a similar time as, or she would be in a position to start to apply it as a potty and you'd be spending lots on sand if she learns to apply it as her bathing room.
