Ok! Now that I have your atten. Here just for illustrative purposes.Could be any religions but let's just say Christianity vs.Atheism.Alright, my question is why is it that (i.e.)Christian questioners ask questions about Atheism, often more statements than questions, and sometimes even questioning their own faith, will get an array of answers and they will pick the most illogical answer? Some answers may even be by Christians, that back up their answer, but they don't get picked. But could be a simple answer just stating "It is God's will",or "God knows best" or "God is the only true one"? Sure, people can answer that it is in God's will, but how about giving some good evidence at least of their claim (as I said some Christians do give nice insights). They get credit for being single-minded.Vice versa ofcourse. Is it that they ignore all the answers that make sense?Or are from Atheists?Obviously many try to make people angry, but is it necessary?By the way, I am not trying to offend anyone.

The question is: why is it that the questioner will get an array of very logical answers, but pick the most ilogical one? It can be someone from their practicing faith, that gives a very good answer. Is it that they are ignorant? Is it that they already know the answer but are looking for people that are like minded? Or is it so they can get people angry.

What I meant about the person who gives a good answer in that the questioner does not pick them as the best answerer. Sorry.

I'm not saying the best answer to me, the best answer that most educated, more intelligent people would pick. I'm not generalizing, just that there is such thing as common sense. But it seems that there are so many people out there asking stupid questions and giving stupid answers. Or that they ask questions just to get people angry. I think it is true that the majority of people on this site are very very dense.

Your question is pretty broad, and doesn't really have a good answer. But you raise some good ones though. Anyone that says they're an Atheist or Christian is really making a statement of faith. An Athiest, for example will through what they proclaim say there is no God. They quote men such as Darwin (this is a general example) that the theroy of evolution is proof that there is no god. Christians argue that the sheer complexities of life require intelligent design and the fact that as of today we can't create life in a lab as the big bang theory has suggested it happened. If this theory was a fact, then we as human beings that I would say were pretty smart would be able to do this, right?

The truth is that there is more to live than just the sum of its parts. We can't throw together the water and other minerals and make a person, plant or animal. (I admit that people can and do clone, but we still have to replicate it from something that is already there). I believe, and this is a statement of faith that I can back up; that there has to be intelligent design for life, the organization of the stars, planets and even the atoms that everything is made up of. Why are the elements that here take the shapes that they do?

As for being religious, this simply means that people are trying to be godlike or reaching god. Athiests, by this tests are insitsting that man is god by the denial of a "supreme being". This is very much a religion. Christianity, on the other hand is the opposite of religion. A true Christian realizes that we can't be like god at all because we're unworthy and blew any chance we had when Adam sinned against God. I ask that you don't just take my word for it, but do your own research and keep and open mind. I can't deny the Lord because I can see the things he's done for me even though unable to understand everything about him. Hope this helps and I'm not offended by your question in the least.

What's your point? Don't you pick the answer that makes the most sense to you? For example if you had a cough OK, and it's lasted for days? OK you post a question and someone tells you it's an ingrown toenail? Well, that answer makes completely no sense to you, right? So do you pickTHAT answer as 'the best answer"? of course not! You pick the one that makes the most sense to you. This is what Christian's do , this is what Atheists do, this is what philosophers do, this is what EVERYONE does?

If fact, I can guarantee that you will pick the answer that makes the most sense to YOU! Money back if you're not delighted~

First off, no offense taken, second I find it impossible to get past all of the contradictions in all religions, to me it's all mindless dribble. I believe that religion is nothing more than a security blanket, for the severely insecure.
I don't set out to anger Christians, but they refuse to let others, not believe, and go out of their way to impose their belief on others, for that I will always hate them, and anyone that deliberately, and with forethought set out to harm, and punish others, because of their personal beliefs.
Christians refuse to accept that others may view science as a more viable explanation to the mysteries of life, over the mere wave of the hand from an omni-present being.

People have the right to answer the way they want. There's nothing you can do about it.
