"graveyard" isn't a set time frame.... like a specific 8 hour time slot. The graveyard is the night shift when compared to the other 2 shifts.... day shift, and swing shift. I worked a "graveyard shift" and it was from 11:00 pm until 7 am. Others I've heard of are from 10pm - 6am and midnight until 8 am. There are a variety of them. If you are looking for one to work while in school, just find a job that allows you to get off in time to get to school. Most graveyard shifts will have you off work no later than 8 am.

Depends on the employer. The old traditional graveyard shift was midnight to 8:00 a.m., but some modify that to fit their business schedule.

please don't call working after school a graveyard shift. you sound to young to use such an old term for working after school . believe me you would not want to begin to work a graveyard shift because it does'nt end or begin.
