Ihave been marry 11 years and I had to leave because it was beginning the be a mental abuse. My husband never wanted me to have anything. He would only paid half rent which is 400.00. in the household. he started to ignore me slam door take furntiure out of the house and put in in storage so me and my 2 grils would sit on it . didn't want company to come over or my family. he would slam door and go upstair in the bedroom. so I left. this been going on for a while. I moved out into another place and he moved right behind me in the complex townshouse. he moved into a one bedroom townhouse and bought big screen tv, computer, front load washer and dryer take his furnture out of storage and started fix up his place. never care really how i was living with him. he tell the kids momma mess the family out she moved out. when they go over there no place for them to slept. one sleep with him the another on the sofabed,. he is really living it up. why did he shut me out.

I don't even know you and I know you are a beautiful women. I believe you are a strong female who in the end will overcome and obstacle in you way. You had the strength to leave, now have the strength to survive.

It's a little late for worrying why he treated you like he did. Obviously, he didn't care about you much and you didn't get marital counseling to try to resolve things. But, one thing sure, he should NOT be sleeping with his daughter! You need to protect your kids. Do not let them stay with him until they each have a bed in his place. If you need help, get a lawyer (Legal Aid can help if you can't afford a private lawyer). In fact, you should file for divorce and get a property settlement agreement. That means he will have to give you some of the furniture back and money! Get moving.

At this point it is a little late to be asking why he used to shut you out. The point is you are away from him and now have a real chance for happiness. Enjoy the fact that you no longer have to take his abuse. Be happy!

GET A LAWYER, ANYTHING THAT WAS PURCHASE DURING THE MARRIAGE IS CONSIDERED COMMUNITY PROPERTY AND SHOULD BE DIVIDED EQUALLY BUT AFTER YOU TELL A JUDGE THIS STORY YOU'LL MOST LIKELY GET MORE AND YOU DESERVE IT

if someone wants to get out of your life no matter what you do let them go no matter how much it hurts, cuz he sleeps and ur the only 1 suffering, so do your moarnin and go on with your life

sometimes, especially during a divorce, people can be cruel...quit worrying about how he is "living it up" and worry about making a good life for you and your kids-without him
