Yes, that's a lot of money. Just make sure you spend it the right way.
You can get a great skateboard for $70-80. You'll still have $220 left.
Then, if you buy shoes for $80, you will have $140 to spend on five to seven shirts. If you are desperately in need of clothes or are willing to get the top of the line apparel, get a cheaper skateboard ($50) and shoes ($70) and you'll have an additional $40 to spend on shirts. You may think that $40 is nothing, but once you start working you'll see that it takes effort to earn. If you have that approach, spending money becomes more thought out and you'll end up getting what you need rather than what you want.

When I was younger, it would have been a lot money for me, but nowadays i could go through 300 dollars in a half hour. When you become a working adult, it just seems to go fast. Anyhow when you go shopping take the whole day and browse through everything and then when you've been to every store you like that you can ever imagine, go back and buy the skateboard and clothes you like. If that sounds like a lot of work, it is, but you dont want to have any regrets right? A common regret is buying the first thing you think you like and find something similar but better at a different store an hour later.

$300 will cover about half of my monthly expenses.
$300 will buy alot of food.
$300 will get me 2-3-4 hours at a tattoo shop
$300 is alot of money unless you are some kinda millionaire rich then its mere pennies.
$300 is alot of money. Spend it wisely.
