I think the president should aphold all the U.S. laws and regulatuions even if he does not agree witth them.

P.S.
The only non-partisan president we ever had was George Washington.

He should uphold all the laws and regulations, and swears an oath to defend and protect the constitution. But he cannot be non-partisan so long as he is head of government as well as head of state. The danger in combining the two is that A) people will be overly reluctant to criticise or question him because as head of state he is the personification of the country, and B) it damages an important institution when he makes bad decisions and becomes widely reviled. This is why most countries separate the two.

We have become a two-party system: Republican and Democrat. In order to become president, realistically, one must be elected as a representative of one of these parties. However, when the election is over and the big move is made into the White House, that person should be educated enough, savvy enough, and pragmatic enough to realize that the Oval Office is much bigger than the person elected and that person is morally, politically, and intelligently charged to make decisions and create a government that protects the people that made that possible. I disagree that George Washington was the last non-partisan president that we have had, but that's another question for another day. I do think the sitting president is far more partisan than ninety-five percent of the previous presidents.

Thats very true, but its a fantasy. I doubt very much you ever see that president in office again. Of course JFK was as close to the modern day non partian president we've had next to Washington, and Lincon

You're looking for objectivity and common sense in this guy? Hahaha. Dream on. He thinks America is his Chevy pick up truck he can trash into anybody and anything, anytime he feels like, and collect the insurance before dump it in the junk yard.

There's a difference between being non-partisan and upholding U.S. laws. (Especially if you're in the Supreme Court.)

He is elected by a constituency, but he represents ALL the people! This president represents the wealthy, and has done nothing for anyone else!
