We lived together for 6 years and my man walked right out the door and for another woman, He has a 13K debt he owed me, plus 2 credit cards in my name were maxed out by him. He took a lot of things that didn't belong to him.
What sort of lawyer can I get?
I have reciepts for all purchases, so I can show the stuff is mine
Also he signed a note guarenteeing the loan.
I am really broken hearted and I need someone else to pick up and fight him, I have no more energy.

With what you have... receipts, note w/ guarantee, etc.... go talk to a lawyer, most will guarantee before they take the case. They are free to talk to, and since the price you are quoting here, you need to go to regular court, not small claims. You can also call your local bar association and they'll refer you to lawyers that'll be experts in your area you are looking for.
Good luck!

Get a lawyer, the amount you want to collect is over small claims court. If you were married, why wasnt this settled in the divorse decree?

If it's less than $5000 you can do it in small claims court, no lawyers, so your paper and the judge decides.

Get a lawyer. There are a lot of them out there that won't get paid unless you do.
