The extra long periods are probably a fluky thing that happens to women some times. The problem is the cramps and discharge that you are getting now - that is not normal and could be a sign of infection. Some products - like tampons - provide an anaerobic warm environment that some bacteria just loooove. If this is accompanied with fever get to doctor or hospital immediately (ER) - otherwise get to doctor as soon as practical.

Ummm, there could be something seriously wrong with the inner works there. I'm not saying there is because I'm a paralegal and not a doctor, but the abnormal period is an issue in itself. Your cycle could be off the mark if you associate with a lot of women. For example, if you work with a lot of women, it's not unusual for your cycle to adapt to the cycle of the women you work with or attend school with. If you started at the end of the month, it's possible your cycle is on track with women around you and that could explain the other one starting in August. I don't know about the length of your cycle because mine varies from 3 to 7 days. I never know how long they are going to last.
The discharge bothers me. I would definately go have that checked out.

It could be stress or a yeast infection or a number of things. It is definitely not normal though. If you see a doctor they will probably put you on birth control and regulate your period but if I were you I would find out what is causing this. Hope you feel better!

well, the white stuff might be from a yeast infection...the period thing is normal....every once in a while you can get your period whenever....if the white stuff has a stinky smell to it and its thicker than normal...then talk to your doctor to see what you can do to clean it up....they have stuff in the store that you can buy over the counter if thats what it is. but check to see if thats what you have before applying the medication

Sometimes women get a double in thier periods. It's normal and it just happened to me last month. If this happens often call your gyne and he or she will assist you.
