most likely yes if it is the employers negligence at work, other than that.. accidents happen. Don't blame your employer for your clumziness.

No, the employee can only collect workmans compensation. If the negligence occurs due to building or property neglect and the employer does not own the property you can sue the property owner.

You can sue for almost anything. Whether you will win and whether you even have a meritorious claim are something else. It will depend upon what you were doing, whether it was in the scope of your employment, whether you were owed a duty of care that the employer did not meet, whether you were acting in a reasonable manner, ... Ask yourself a basic question before you go on the warpath ... if you employed someone in your house to do a similar thing and they were hurt in similar circumstances, would it be fair for them to sue you?

I think sanjosenative is right. It really will depend upon if the employer was negligent or not. If you got injured during the normal course of things, you would just get worker's comp. You can usually find someone to consult through Worker's Comp - they may not be able to advise you, but they should at least be able to tell you who to talk to ....

Well you should practice your spelling first . Then try to sue . It will cost you more money than you have to take a boss to court over a injury case . You have to prove negligence and have witnesses , who are willing to go court for you and testify against the boss , you have to have medical records x-rays doctors written affidavits , etc. Sure you can sue , will you win ? Nah .

Depends- was the employer actually neglegent, did Workman's Comp cover medical attention?

Contact your Workforce Services, talk to someone at Job Service... They do know employment laws... one suggestion, though- DO NOT tell them your employer's name...

Forget all your suing business. Why are stupid people always out there to blame someone for what happen to them? Take responsability. You need to be careful first.
