Sorry, need more info...if you are talking about a salt water set up with lighting for coral and good filtration, plus fish, rock, sand, etc...you could be looking at $500-$1000+ USD. If all that you are looking at is an empty tank...no filters, stand, etc...you should not pay more than $25-$50 USD if it is just a simple rectangular tank. If it is octagonal or some other special shape you might be looking at $75-$100 USD.

If I were you, if it is just a simple tank and nothing else that you are looking at, I would just go out and buy a new one. With a used one you are looking at the possibility that the tank leaks, that the there was a disease in the tank that may still lurk, and the possibility that there had been a disease in the tank and that the previous owner had treated. Some medications for fish permenantly adhere to the tank and can poison other animals in the tank...even if you clean and clean the thing.
