1) Sunlight has been proven to be an important part of persons well being. The lack of sunlight is usually only a problem for people who live far north, but demonstrates the vital need for sunlight to maintain emotional well being.

exercise. regular exercise (5-6 days a week for a minimum of 45 minutes)
good diet - cutting out fat and sugar and all of the other crap that is in a typical persons diet.
not being overweight - good diet and regular exercise will keep that in check though.
not smoking - smoking causes cancer, heart disease, all sorts of things.
