I'm watching it now but I don't have a clue. I'm trying to catch the plot to it.

its about a revolution which started 150 yrs ago to burn the Parliament in England.
the mask man was doing this as well as taking revenge for what the military did to him.

its based off a graphic novel of the same name. Its set in the future and tells the tale of a daughter of two martyrs that were revolutionaries. She runs into V a masked man that is a freedom fighter. The movie has strong political statements againts facism and fear. I think its interesting that in the scene where the chancelor is taking it looks like a hitler speech i though i heard the crowd say sieg heil but im not sure. It referensces and parrellells the great story "the count of Monte Cristo" aside from statements about power, it also teaches a story about forgivemness

Its a story of how one individual can motivate thousands if not millions against a controlling totalitarian government. Its a fairytale on how one can can free millions from a greedy amoral grasping government; and make the world a better place.

It sounds similar to George Orwell's 1984 and the "Big Brother is Watching You" concept. But I've never actually seen it myself.

It's kinda like fighting the system and not being a bunch of lab rats or robots. It's about fighting for your freedom and individuality.

it is a politically charged movie dealing with conspiracy in the government. it deals with issues like
- government killing its own civilains to raise fear
- secret government facilities where they took certain types of people (the person described was a homosexual)
- the government to change, sometimes destroying the government is needed.
