Yes, you are missing a boyfriend that cares about you. If it was agreed that he would pick you and he decided not to, then he is disregarding your feelings and possibly your safety. No "boyfriend" should ever do this. If i were you, I would have more respect for myself, and dump him. He doesn't deserve anyone, let alone you.
Your boyfriend should keep his word, if he tells you he will do something..then he is obligated. While I dont want to rant and rave against the guy, because I dont know the whole story, I can tell that if his reaction was "buy a box of tissues" then he truly has some relationship issues, and shouldn't be retained as your boyfriend.
Dump him and find someone better.... Just remember there are 3 billion guys out there (maybe more?), so dont get hung up on the bad ones.

He had a terrible runny nose and while waiting for you to get said tissues he circled the parking lot. A terrible sneeze errupted causing much phlegm to coat the windsheild and he spun out of control and went head on into traffic not being able to see where he was headed! OH the Travisty! If only you had used the express lane he would still be with us! Or at least saw the accident before they cleaned it all up and finally strolled out of the store.
Ok, better yet, call him and say you are sorry you took so long in the store but you met this incredible guy and you relized you were soul mates and now you will have to end your relationship with him! Make him think you didn't have a clue as to why he left you there.

Yeah toots...he's giving you the kiss off. I wouldn't give him the pleasure of seeing you miserable. In fact, I'd make sure he doesn't see you at all anymore if I were you. If he does come sniffing around eventually, I'd simply tell him to guy buy a box of tissues and walk away.
This guy has no class and frankly, you're worth better than that.

Apparently you are now missing a boyfriend. Somehow you didn't read between the lines and recognize that he was breaking up with you.
Did you buy that box of tissue? I think that request all by itself would have clued me in to something being not quite right......

At least his true colours came out, now you know what his really like.
Don't worry, you can do better than him, and you deserve better.

Seems to me that he directly told you to cry in the tissue's not on his shoulder. What a complete jerk. Do not call him and I would go out with his best friend, if I saw him in public I would Kiss his best friend then hand him the tissues. Sorry but he was a loser!!!!!

Ouch, I'm sensing he dumped you and figured that you'd need some tissues for your tears. Coward couldn't say it to your face, and work to find a more politically correct resolution, that's a shame.
