Family member cannot tell her husband No, you can not have whatever. its not in the monthly budget. Help her!!

I don't believe she is afraid to tell him no, just the fact that she can't and not a clue why she cannot say no to all his material wants. Causing family money worries because of bouncing checks and overdraft changes. So does anyone else have trouble telling the mate they cannot have something because its not in the budget. ??? Is there a disorder for not being able to communicate honestly here???

I'm afraid that she will have to find these things out for herself,letting her flip the bill,bounce her own account until its dry or, she goes to jail,may be the only way she will learn not to spend so much.

I believe there is more to it... There should be no reason why she can't communicate and tell her husband what's on her mind.. Maybe she is afraid of something, that you don't know about...

Sit her down and let her know, that if she wants to move ahead, she needs to cut his spending.... You can't live the life style if you don't have the money... She needs to tell him, if he wants things, he needs to get a second job... She is no longer going to do it.

SHE'S AFRAID IT SHE SAYS NO HE'LL FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL SAY YES. SOUNDS LIKE THEY DON'T HAVE A VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP. SHE NEEDS TO SIT DOWN WITH HIM AND THE CHECK BOOK AND SHOW HIM WHAT IS GOING ON. HE MIGHT NOT KNOW.
